PROJECT HIGHLIGHT: GREENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN CENTER

Construction of the new Greenwood High School Freshman Center required excavation immediately adjacent to the existing High School building.  Underpinning of the existing building was done first, then the excavation was accomplished in lifts as a soil nail wall was constructed.

FSGC's role was to underpin the existing building with 37 steel piers and install 61 soil nails for for excavation support.
